Elastic Bushes & Rubber-Metal Bushings for Railway Applications

AVITECH elastic bushes are rubber-metal components designed to provide flexible connections, vibration isolation and controlled movement in railway bogies, suspension systems and mechanical linkages. A typical rubber-metal bushing consists of an inner metal sleeve and an outer metal sleeve with an elastomer layer bonded between them. Depending on the design, the bushing can accommodate radial and axial displacement as well as torsional and cardanic (angular) movement.

Our range includes special rubber-metal bushes, bushings for linkage and rocker-arm assemblies, and spherical bearing-type elastic elements. Designs may incorporate hollow or solid inner metal parts, profiled metal surfaces or segmented outer sleeves to suit the installation and required stiffness characteristics.

Typical applications: Railway bogie connections, suspension joints, traction and guiding linkages, and other assemblies requiring elastic articulation. Dimensions, rubber properties and stiffness characteristics can be specified according to the customer's drawing and application requirements.
